As you know, the spread of COVID-19 continues to impact every aspect of society around the world and within Canada. The World Health Organization has now declared it a Pandemic.
In view of this, The Gaelic Society of Toronto will suspend all events until further notice to assist in reducing the potential spread of COVID-19, the Coronavirus. We have made the proactive decision in order to prioritize the health and wellness of our members and guests. The continued spread of COVID-19 in Canada and around the world is concerning and we will follow the Public Health Agency of Canada recommendations. The cancellation of our Ceilidhs, Young Pipers Championship and Canan agus Oran is temporary and is the best way to safeguard the well-being of our members. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our members, guests and young competitors. As no one knows precisely when this situation will change for the better or how long the contagion will last, at this time we are unable to advise you of when our activities will resume. In these challenging times, rest assured that we will continue to make the best decisions we can for everyone’s well-being. Thanking you in advance for your understanding and your loyalty to The Gaelic Society of Toronto. We hope that you and your family will stay safe and healthy.
