Our lecturer is renowned Gaelic scholar and musician Gillebrìde MacMillan from the University of Glasgow - notable for his appearance as Gwyllyn the Bard on the popular television series Outlander, based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon.
He will be speaking on the subject of Gaelic song collecting in a talk entitled:
'Gaelic song collecting and collectors in the Outer Hebrides: A historical perspective and present day opportunities'
